Programme overview
Doctoral studies at Vytautas Magnus University Agriculture Academy is aimed to develop qualified scientists, who are capable of conducting independent scientific research and experimental development, to generate new knowledge contributing to economics field.
Doctoral topics in Economics field:
- Sustainable Public Financial Management
- Financial Markets and Green Financing
- Economic and Environmental Assessment of the Effects of Climate Change
Doctoral studies in Economics aims to provide students with the theoretical and analytical tools that allows them to base the relevance of the topic, to find out and formulate research problem, to develop methodology and conduct empirical research. The purpose of the program is to prepare students to carry out an original, complex and innovative research related to business, economy and society. Well-developed supervision process will support the development of student’s research agenda and help to become an independent thinker in the chosen area.
