Automation and Electrical Engineering

Programme overview

Initially, the words programmable logic controllers, frequency converters, servo motor control equipment, sensors may sound like spells to you, but soon you can become an automation professional – to be able to design energy supply and automation systems, install,  maintain and repair them yourself.

The programme is interdisciplinary, so you will have really interesting studies in the subjects of electrical and electronic engineering. You should be into science, love technology and be determined to become a qualified professional. Modern Siemens, Festo, Schneider Electric electrical and electronic devices and systems are used in studies.

Studies at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija can be combined with work – both in full-time and part-time mode. Individual needs are acommodated on a case-by-case basis.

Why at Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija?

Students learn to automate production processes and work with modern electronic devices and their systems. Practical classess are held in an updated Technological Processes Automation laboratory. The employment prospects of graduates, i.e. specialists in the automation of technological lines, are particularly good.

POSSIBLE CAREER PATHS

Graduates work as electrical engineers in electricity network companies and companies operating, installing and repairing electrical equipment and their control systems as well as in companies engaged in the automation of technological processes.

Studies can be continued at universities under the programmes of the Engineering Science study fields group in Electrical Engineering and Electronics Engineering fields.

Admission Requirements

The citizens of foreign countries  are admitted to the Šiaulių valstybinė kolegija in accordance with the procedure laid down in Admission Rules here.

Persons are admitted with secondary education. There are no entrance exams.
