Programme overview
The program’s goal is to prepare and educate professionals in transport management and logistics, specifically individuals with a Master’s in Business Management. These graduates are expected to possess the capability to evaluate economic operations and events in transport management and logistics, analyse and present information effectively, plan and conduct scientific research within the field, competently assess research outcomes, and apply findings in practical scenarios. Furthermore, they should be able to make independent decisions related to managing transport and logistics processes, assume managerial roles in various business companies and state institutions, and demonstrate creative and critical reasoning skills. Graduates are also expected to maintain and further develop their professional competencies acquired at the university or scientific research institutions and to pursue independent learning throughout their careers.
The study programme covers a wide range of disciplines that enables students to understand the essential aspects of logistics management. These in-depth studies include the following subjects: Warehouse and Inventory Management, Resource and Operation Management in Logistics; Transportation Services of International trade; Research Methods in Logistics and Transport; Economics of Transport Services; Transport Logistics; Reverse Logistics; Strategic Supply Chain Management (with course work); Supply Management; Quality Management Systems in Transport; Transport Policy and Innovations.
