Career Prospects.
The acquired qualification provides the opportunity to organize and manage cargo, passenger transportation and other logistical processes, to make timely business optimization decisions and to ensure business competitiveness in transport and logistics sector companies by independently applying the legal norms of local distribution and international logistics. After obtaining a professional bachelor’s degree in business management, a person can work in public and private companies operating in the transport and logistics sector, create their own business, and pursue higher academic education.
Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:
- Students will know theories of fundamental worldview and humanities, processes of material, information and financial flows, passenger and freight transportation.
- Students will apply knowledge of economics, statistics, management and business organisation as well as regulatory legislation in the professional activities of transport/logistics.
- Students will analyse the company’s logistics/transportation processes, identify the existing problems, see perspectives, ensuring sustainable development at the national and international level.
- Students will plan the activities of the company/division, development/expansion opportunities, evaluating the transport/logistics business environment, market trends.
- Students will apply information systems for the analysis of transport and logistics processes.
- Students will manage passenger and cargo transportation processes, ensure their material supply, quality and control.
- Students will manage supply, purchase and sale, warehousing, distribution processes by optimising the number of supply chains, stock levels, warehousing costs.
- Students will manage logistics information flows using information technologies.
- Students will apply knowledge of management and business organisation and knowledge of other sciences for efficient improvement of transport and logistics processes.
- Students will be able to evaluate logistical solutions in ethical, social, economic and safety aspect.
- Students will be able to communicate in the correct Lithuanian language and foreign language.
- Students will be able to critically analyse, argue, discuss in team activities orally, in writing or other means of communication.
- Students will be able to independently deepen their knowledge in professional activities, understand the importance of life-long learning.

Admission Requirements
- 1. A secondary education or a corresponding qualification giving access to higher education in Lithuania.
The academic assessment and recognition of your education documents will be processed by VIKO.
- 2. Successful completion of a mathematics examination
If your education document does not confirm the mathematics exam, you must complete the Evaluation of Knowledge, Abilities and Skills in four subjects: Information Technology, Mathematics, History, and Geography.
- 3. English language proficiency
Proficiency in English at B2 level (as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages – CEFR). All applicants must take an English language proficiency exam, which includes both a written test and an interview.
