General description: The aim of study programme is to train professionals of software systems who are able to design, develop, and install client/server, data engineering, and the internet of things software systems and software, as well as to analyze, assess, and solve software system tasks and problems in different institutions and business enterprises, and supervise a group of persons during the implementation of the activities related to design, installation and operation of software systems.
Double degree studies. Students can choose a double degree studies of Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution and XAMK University of Applied Sciences.

Qualified program system specialists who have acquired systematic knowledge and are able to adapt them to career opportunities are associated with extremely fast developing and global standards companies that are constantly experiencing a shortage of such professionals. These are:

- Data processing, web server (hosting) companies

- Enterprises providing telecommunication sector wired and wireless services and software installation and support services

- Electronic and telecommunication equipment design and manufacturing companies
Access to further study. Opportunities for further studies at universities are ensured by Master’s degree programmes in Informatics sciences in Lithuania. Continuity is also possible in foreign higher education institutions.

Admission Requirements
Documents to be submitted
- Official notarized documents (minimum 50% GPA) of a high school diploma (and university diploma, if any), including an academic transcript.
- Documents must meet country-specific requirements.
- Copy of a passport or an ID card.
- Motivational letter.
- At least 1 reference.
- An English language proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, EnglishScore or PTE) is required. Minimum scores: IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, EnglishScore ≥400 (CoreSkills), PTE ≥59. If applicants do not have such proof, they may take an English language test carried out by Kauno kolegija Higher Education Institution (B2 level required) for a fee of 45 EUR. The test is available only during the admission period. Note: A Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter is not accepted as proof of English proficiency.
All official documents must be presented in either English or the Lithuanian language. Verification from a notary is required for the English and Lithuanian translations of all written documents.
The application will not be considered if some of the required documents are missing.
