VILNIUS TECH invites applications for a fully funded PhD position in Civil Engineering.
Performance of Asphalt Layers in Road Pavement Structures in Relation to the Properties of Bituminous Binders Modified with Bio-Based Additives
The PhD will be carried out in parallel with the research project: “Environmentally Neutral Bio-Binder for Sustainable Asphalt Pavements”
Academic requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or related field. Candidates from Materials Science or Chemistry backgrounds should have previous research experience related to bitumen, asphalt materials, or asphalt pavements.
- The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English;
Scholarships and Funding
- The state-funding or self-funded studies are available;
- Grants for doctoral studies and research;
- Grants for international academic mobility.
- PhD scholarship (4 years)
- Salary from a research project (first 3 years)
