Entry Qualification To this programme applicants are accepted from fields of: Biology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Chemistry Engineering, Biotechnology.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY PROGRAMME?

The aim of the program is to prepare the professionals that possess the advanced knowledge and skills in both biotechnology and materials science by combining the desing and problem-solving skills of engineering with the ones of biomedical sciences and are capable of using the acquired knowledge while solving practical problems in the biomedically oriented scientific research.

WHAT WILL STUDENTS LEARN?

•    Students will acquire fundamental knowledge and skills in gene, cell, and tissue engineering, nanomaterials, nanomedicine, diagnostic nanobiotechnology, nanobioelectronics and microcapsulation of the biocomponents.
•    Students will be acquainted with the organization and planning of research and dissemination of results both in academic and industrial environments.
•    Students will be able to carry out the individual research projects, analyze and present the obtained results.
