Programme overview

The Mathematics programme is designed to train highly qualified specialists with advanced knowledge in both pure and applied mathematics and strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, enabling them to tackle complex scientific, industrial and economic challenges. Emphasising the universality and adaptability of mathematical methods, the programme equips students with modelling and decision‑making skills that can be applied across a wide spectrum of fields.
A key strength is the programme’s broad applicability, allowing graduates to adapt easily to roles in business, IT, finance, insurance, trade, industry, and research or education institutions. Students develop the ability to use specialised mathematical software, construct mathematical models and analyse data‑driven processes. Upon graduation, they are well prepared for careers in science and education organisations, high‑technology industries, data analysis agencies, social research institutions and management organisations, as well as any other sector where strong mathematical and analytical skills are required. Graduates may also pursue further studies at the doctoral level in Mathematics, Computer Science or related areas.
