Programme overview
In a fast changing Industry 4.0 technology environment, constant innovation in engineering and marine transportation is crucial. In choosing this course, you are embarking on a unique study programme combining both marine transport engineering and IT. In addition you will take specialisation modules in the field of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding, giving you skills in ship design and digital innovations.
The course prepares students for work in the maritime industry, and for ship design and construction companies operating in the conditions of the global market. Suitable roles might include work as a constructor, ship architect, engineer, or project manager in shipbuilding design, construction and repair enterprises.
Specialisations*: Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding; Marine Energy Engineering; Liquefied Natural Gas Engineering and Management
*During their studies, students must select a specialisation. The specialisation is implemented if a group consists of at least 8 students.
Application fee: The Application fee for degree study programmes is for citizens of the EU member states or countries of the European Economic Area (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), as well as those who have a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania: €75. For other students: €180. (Application fee is non refundable).
