Programme overview
These studies are for those who want to work with real-world infrastructure.
Dams, water systems, infrastructure and environmental solutions – all of these are analysed, designed and assessed in a practical context.
The programme is focused on strong practical training, so graduates can quickly enter employment in hydrotechnics, water management or infrastructure sectors.
Specialisations
- Renewable Energy Engineering
- Building Internal Engineering Systems
- Outdoor Engineering Networks
What to expect during your studies?
- Work with real projects, not “examples” (drainage systems, dams, etc.)
- Modern design software for hydraulic and hydrological calculations
- Renewable energy in practice – small hydropower plants, water turbines, etc.
- Drones in studies – aerial drones (embankments, slopes, etc.) and water drones (water bodies, seabed topography, etc.)
- Real research in real-world sites – Gediminas Hill slopes, polders, dams, etc.
- Practitioner lecturers – around 80% of teaching is delivered by professionals working in the field
