Programme overview
The aim of this programme is to prepare culinary arts professionals able to apply knowledge of fundamental and advanced food production technology, effectively address raw material safety and quality issues, organize food and food chain management processes, and evaluate changes in business environment. Professionals are expected to be socially responsible, continuously seek personal development and business service effectiveness. Culinary Arts is a unique study programme in Lithuania.

Access to professional activity or further study
Graduates from Culinary Arts programme will be able to work as food production manager, executive chef, sous-chef, food production technologist, food service company manager and administrator in food service (restaurants, bistro, café-bars, hotels) and other food catering companies.
Access to further study: Graduates of first cycle higher education programme will be able to study further in second cycle catering, technology sciences study fields programmes in Lithuania and abroad.
Studies and practice
Study subjects (modules), practical training: Professional Philosophy, Food Science, Fundamentals of Food Production Technology, Food Production Technology Internship, Balanced Nutrition, Advanced Food Production Technology, Food Business Management, Banqueting and Events Catering, Culinary Arts Entrepreneurship, Final Thesis, Final Exam. Two professional activity internships are performed in actual professional environment in food industry companies.
Optional courses: Students may choose study field related free-elective courses. Total volume of free elective courses is not less than 9 credits, ensuring that College offers the student the study subjects that meets their professional interest. Free elective courses: World cuisine, Classic desserts, Wine course, Food design, Food photography, Human resource management, Sales management.
Exchange studies: Possibility to take part in Erasmus+ exchange programme for studies and internships and get monthly scholarships of 300 – 700 Eur.

Minimal education of the applicant: Secondary

- Must have a B2 English language level certificate
- Must have a minimum GPA of 50% in individual semesters and a CGPA of at least 50% overall to be eligible for studies
- Must have a police clearance certificate
- Must be able to come to Lithuania in person for studies
- Must have enough resources to support oneself
- Related work, volunteering experience or additional achievements are considered to be a big advantage
