Programme objective: To develop highly skilled professionals open to innovation, creativity and strategic thinking – those, who are able to create their own businesses, manage to adapt to changing market conditions, as well as working in a team, who know the importance of communication and are able to use the latest information and communication technologies.
Programme learning outcomes: You will learn to communicate in a foreign language, to understand basic economic, management and marketing concepts, identify business models, organise and conduct market research, develop business plans and solve real business issues while shaping your project work skills, to plan and organize the company communication and to use modern marketing techniques, accounting principles. Project-based training is used in this study programme. Thanks to project-based training, you will have a rare opportunity to study – for a period of three years – practical search and simulate business decisions using the knowledge gained. You’ll be ready to:
- tackle the real problems of the company
- analyse the market and customer needs
- take special care to ensure the quality of services
- apply project management techniques and modern solutions.
Career prospects
Upon completion of the Business Management and Marketing degree program you will be able to set up your own business, to manage or to join a well-established business organization. You will be able to work in positions such as sales manager, customer service manager, communications specialist, as well as work in production, trade and service enterprises, personnel, marketing, communications and other functional departments, public relations, advertising agencies.

Admission Requirements
- Certificate of secondary education or diploma translated into English. The cumulative grade point average of your secondary school results, including final exams, must be no lower than 60%. The grade point average from Mathematics, IT and Economics/Geography/History must be at least 70%. Please note that all previous education certificates/diplomas must be officially recognized by the Center for Quality Assurance of Higher Education of Lithuania (www.skvc.lt ).
- English language requirements: B2 or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Applicants may choose one of these methods to prove their level:

Students who do not meet the minimal English language level requirement can still be admitted to VBC but will have to complete one semester of the Academic English Preparatory Programme On line before arrival to Lithuania.
- Admission Interview. All applicants must complete the admission interview with a VBC admissions officer.
- Applicants who have participated in various Academic Olympiads or taken additional professional development courses can provide certificates of achievement to obtain extra admission points.
