Utenos kolegija / Higher Education Institution

Utenos kolegija, a higher education institution (HEI), provides higher college studies that emphasise practical activities, applied research, and professional development. Graduates receive the Professional Bachelor’s qualification degree, a diploma of Higher Education, and a Diploma Supplement upon completion of their studies.

The institution currently offers 18 study programs. These programs are accredited by both national and international experts. The academic staff includes professors, associate professors, and professional practitioners with substantial theoretical and practical experience. Some subjects are taught by guest lecturers from various European universities. The studies are designed to meet the demands of the global labour market, with internships being an integral part of the curriculum.

Internationalisation is a key strategic priority for Utena HEI, which holds the Erasmus Charter of Higher Education for 2021-2027. Students have opportunities to participate in international exchange programs and projects. The institution also welcomes international students.

Students at Utena HEI study in an environment equipped with well-furnished computer labs and wireless Internet connections throughout the buildings. The institution has advanced material resources, including conference and educational halls, a Centre of E-Learning, and a library with access to leading e-libraries and databases.
