„Study in Lithuania“ participated in the APAIE 2026 Conference and Exhibition, held from 23–27 February 2026 in Hong Kong.
APAIE is one of the largest international higher education events in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together educators, administrators, policymakers, and international education professionals. APAIE 2026 attracted approximately 3500 delegates from over 72 countries and regions, representing universities, national agencies, and education networks worldwide.
Together with representatives of „Study in Lithuania“, the Lithuanian delegation included higher education institutions:

During the 4 days conference the Lithuanian representatives presented study opportunities, scholarship schemes, exchange programmes, and partnership models for institutional cooperation. The joint national stand attracted significant interest from universities across Asia-Pacific and beyond, strengthening Lithuania’s visibility as a competitive and innovative study destination.
The delegation held numerous bilateral meetings with existing and potential partners, discussing student and staff mobility, joint programmes, research collaboration, and new cooperation agreements. Participation in APAIE 2026 also provided valuable insights into emerging trends in internationalisation.
As the Asia-Pacific region remains one of the priority markets for Lithuania, „Study in Lithuania’s“ presence at APAIE is essential to building sustainable academic partnerships and attracting talented students.
