Tuition Fee Waiver Available for Eastern European and Russian Studies Programme
Tuition waiver will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international non-EU and non-European Economic Area student applying for the Master’s degree programme of Eastern European and Russian studies. This scholarship only covers the full cost of the tuition fee.
VU FEBA Admissions Scholarship
Ten one-off Scholarships equal to 1000,00 EUR each will be awarded to the most motivated and competent international students applying to the Bachelor’s and Master‘s programmes of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
The Scholarship is payable directly to the successful applicant after their arrival to study at Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
Eligibility
Candidates from any foreign country will be awarded after a successful admission procedure and motivation interview to any Bachelor’s and Master‘s study programme at Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The ranking of best students will be made after a motivation interview where students get points depending on their grades, motivation to study in Lithuania, Vilnius University and chosen study programme. If different students get same score, then grades average is compared, if also coincides the higher motivation score will be evaluated. To get the scholarship, students must pay the first tuition fee for their studies.

The Grand Duchy of Lithuania Scholarship for Ukrainians
The Grand Duchy of Lithuania Scholarship is a special scholarship offered by Vilnius University for the most gifted applicants from Ukraine. The scholarship will be awarded to the 25 best applicants from Ukraine for €300 each for the first 10 months of their study.
The scholarship is available for both Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes.

Scholarships for Full-Time Master Degree Studies
Call for applications for full-time master’s degree or integrated studies at Lithuanian higher education institutions is now CLOSED!

Education Exchanges Support Foundation is opening a Call for applications for Lithuanian state scholarships for full-time Master’s degree or integrated studies (a maximum of the two last years of the integrated studies) at Lithuanian higher education institutions for the year 2024.
Funding under the Call will be provided to the citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, Israel, Japan, Moldova, South Korea, Ukraine and foreigners of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and EFTA countries, 100 grants in total (monthly scholarships and grants covering the study cost), ensuring quotas for citizens of the following countries:
• Belarus (10 grants);
• Ukraine (20 grants);
• Foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and EFTA countries (5 grants).

Scholarships for short-term studies in Lithuania are offered for candidates who are citizens of the following countries:
- Azerbaijan, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, China, Georgia, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Republic of South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the USA, Vietnam.
- Foreigners of Lithuanian origin (from all foreign countries).

- For foreigners (except citizens of Russia and Belarus) and foreigners of Lithuanian origin from all countries: 15
- For students, lecturers and researchers of Lithuanian (Baltic) science centers (except citizens of Russia and Belarus): 30
Programme requirements for the Lithuanian studies
Applicants for the short-term Lithuanian studies scholarships are required to choose and design their study programme in such a way that at least 50% of the subjects are related to Lithuanian studies, which might include subjects such as Lithuanian philology, linguistics, literature, Lithuanian history, ethnology and folklore, culturology, etc.
