Vytautas Magnus University is seeking ambitious, intelligent, and talented students and offers them various scholarship opportunities for full-time Bachelor´s and Master´s degree studies.


Type of scholarship: tuition fee waiver 25%, 50%, 75%, 90 % or 100% for the entire study period of a full-time Bachelor´s and Master’s degree programme taught in English.

Dates and deadlines

The application will be opened on March 1st, 2023.

Applications received by the following deadlines will be considered by selection committee:

  • By April 15 (applications opened for all applicants)
  • By May 15 (applications opened for all applicants)
  • By June 25 (applications opened for all applicants)
  • By July 20 (applications opened ONLY for applicants from EU countries, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Sakartvelo, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Japan, South Korea and Foreigners currently residing in Lithuania)

The call for applications for 2023-2024 short-term studies is now CLOSED!


Scholarships for short-term studies in Lithuania offered for candidates who are citizens of the following countries:

• The Eastern Partnership countries: Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia.
• ASEM countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, China, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
• Lithuania priority export market countries: the USA, Israel, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Turkey, South Africa Republic.
• Foreigners of Lithuanian origin.

Scholarships for international applicants

Kaunas University of Technology offers full or partial tuition fee waiver for candidates with outstanding results depending on their chosen study programme.


Awarded to students with

  • strong academic record
  • motivation.


These scholarships are open to all international applicants.

All perspective students who submitted their application through University’s application system (https://apply.ktu.edu/) will automatically become candidates to receive scholarship.

The application for full tuition fee waivers closes together with the latest deadline of application for studies, 30 June 2023. The receivers of the scholarship will be announced latest in the middle of July. We will contact those who receive the scholarships individually.

Scholarships for Lithuanian Short-Term Studies

The call for applications for 2023-2024 Lithuanian short-term studies is now CLOSED!


10 scholarships are offered for candidates who are students, lecturers or researchers (researchers in linguistics or philology only) of higher education and research institutions of all countries of the world, except citizens of Belarus and Russia.

5 scholarships are offered for candidates who are foreigners of Lithuanian origin of all countries of the world.

Applicants for the Lithuanian studies scholarship are required to choose or design their study programme which might include subjects such as Lithuanian philology, linguistics, literature, Lithuanian history, ethnology and folklore, culturology, etc.

The call for applications for 2023-2024 scholarships for Full-Time Master Degree or Integrated studies at Lithuanian higher education institutions is now CLOSED!


Education Exchanges Support Foundation is opening a Call for applications for 100 Lithuanian state scholarships for full-time Master’s degree or integrated studies (a maximum of the two last years of the integrated studies) at Lithuanian higher education institutions for the year 2023. Funding under the Call will be provided to the citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Georgia, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Moldova, Ukraine and foreigners of Lithuanian origin from non-EU and EFTA countries.
