Do you enjoy helping young people and children find their place in the world? Are you looking to improve your skills as a social worker? Are you aiming to build upon your bachelor degree and improve your career opportunities?
If all of the questions above sound like they are about you, master degree in Social Work with Youth and Children might be exactly what you are looking to study. This course is unique among other study programmes in the same category, as it involves a lot of practical and intercultural field work: The programme has been developed in conjunction with Latvia’s Rīga Stradiņš University. Its implementation is based on the experience of education in social work in the EU.
Upon completion of your degree, you will be able to work in children and youth day centers, especially working with children and youth from social risk families, juvenile justice institutions as providers of social services for delinquent children and youth. You will be able to implement youth policy in municipalities, improve quality of social work with migrants, develop career guidance services for children and youth.
