Programme overview
Public health is the population’s comprehensive physical, mental, and social well-being. During the study, public health specialists acquire leadership skills. They can analyze the population’s or target groups’ health status, assess demographic characteristics, identify major health problems, contribute to disease and injury prevention and safety promotion, control outbreaks, and conduct screenings and vaccination programs. They develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion and disease prevention programs, plan and organize healthy lifestyle activities, and organize preventative activities in health care organizations. They promote overall health and well-being in the population they serve.
Application fee (non-refundable):
- For citizens of EU member states, countries of the European Economic Area (EEA), and Eastern Partnership countries (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), as well as those with a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania: €75.
- For other students: €180.
