Programme overview
The aim of the study programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists – physiotherapists who are able independently or in with a team of rehabilitation specialists to provide diseases and injuries prevention, health promotion, rehabilitation, abilitation and education services, promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life. After successful completion of the study programme, the degree of Professional Bachelor in Health Science and Professional Qualification of Physiotherapistherapist is awarded.
The study programme is modular with Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. In order to achieve study results, student-oriented methods (analysis of cases, reflection, interactive lecture, observation, analysis of best practices, making and reasoning assumptions, role-playing games, etc.), independent work and related methods are used.
Professional possibilities for graduates: graduates are able to work in all levels of health care, social rehabilitation and abilitation, education and training institutions, care and nursing institutions, wellness and sports centres and clubs and allowed to have a private business.
