About the programme

Successful development of legal and financial activities means a good knowledge of the principles of law and business organisation, having the necessary economic, financial and legal knowledge and understanding of the processes taking place in the world, creating an economic and business-friendly legal environment.

One of the most important goals of the study program in law and financial security is to provide conceptual knowledge and understanding of law, not only as a legal system, but also as a social phenomenon that helps to promote sustainable economic development. This can be achieved only through mastering the fundamental knowledge of law and other social sciences and through the analysis of globalisation and integration processes of the economy and business.

Graduates’ complex knowledge allows them to scientifically analyse the situation and properly assess it, to provide clients with high-quality (specialised) legal advice based on legal and logical arguments and financial laws in the field of business, to correctly choose the law applicable to finance sector in the global economy. The implementation of the programme focused on the needs of a competitive business and ensures the training of highly qualified specialists who are able to become professional experts in law and finance (advisers) as well as independently create and develop businesses, start-ups not only at regional or national level, but also in Europe or globally.

Career:

The qualification of a lawyer and professional competencies in the field of Fintech acquired during the studies will allow to successfully pursue a career in various companies of the financial industry: payment industry (electronic money and payments; companies providing payment initiation services and other regulated financial institutions); banking, investment, and insurance sectors; lending services (mutual lending, crowdfunding); cyber security companies; state and international institutions supervising finance industry; personal data analysis and protection.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law;
  • Duration – 3,5 years (210 ECTS)
  • Distribution of academic subjects by semester: approx. 30 ECTS credits per semester, 7 semesters;
