During this course, you will carry out many of your assignments in cooperation with companies, where you will develop your knowledge of industrial production and its management. Do you like to organise, develop and create? In this programme, you will understand the fundamentals of engineering technology, learn to design digital manufacturing systems and organise pre-production and production processes. It will prepare you to be a production operations manager, able to make decisions independently and responsibly. You will also learn about product quality assessment, business ethics, product development philosophy and digital manufacturing transformations. You will master the fundamentals of both general and industrial enterprise management. A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering can lead to a career in manufacturing engineering and other industries, organising production, developing modern technologies and conducting research. You will find yourself as a production systems designer, technologist, project manager, or control and quality expert.

A qualification in industrial engineering gives you unlimited career opportunities – both in Lithuania and abroad. You can work as an engineering project developer or as a technology planner in supply chain optimisation, quality, or production supervision. As an industrial engineer, you can work as a production, operations, logistics, project manager, quality officer or consultant. During an integrated apprenticeship, you’ll get an in-depth insight into the workings of a modern industrial company, gaining work experience in different departments of the company.
Admission Requirements
Proficiency in English Language requirements:
IELTS ≥5.5, TOEFL ≥75, CEFR ≥B1, or equivalent:
If you do not currently hold any English proficiency certificate, the English test can also be conducted by KTU during the admission process.
Eligibility:
Minimum average grade (CGPA) > 60 % in each entry subject.
High school certificate
Maximum 3 years after high school graduation is eligible.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian.
The documents must be legalised (Apostille) by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country where the documents were issued. This requirement does not apply for the documents issued in the EU and Belarus, Ukraine.
