Aim of the study programme

To train qualified business management bachelor professionals, able to independently perform complex, requiring personal responsibility, work in planning, organizing, managing and controlling the corporate business processes; to establish, develop and manage the activities of a business enterprise or its division, to communicate properly in a team and individually with partners in order to achieve the goals by deepening professional and personal competence and entrepreneurship.

Outcomes of the study programme

Knowledge and its application

  1. Know and understand the main theories and concepts of management, economics and other sciences that explain the corporate socio-economic phenomena and the environment related to the corporate business peculiarities.

  2. Apply the legal acts regulating business and the activities of enterprises and the basic knowledge of business organization in national and international environment.

Skills to perform research

  1. Analyse the company activities, apply innovative methods of data and information collection, processing and evaluation by analysing the processes taking place in the company, preparing reasonable proposals and making decisions.

Special skills

  1. Plan, organize, manage and control the company activities and related information, selecting the latest management and marketing principles, concepts, factors determining consumer behaviour and applying the methods of accounting and management of finance and other resources.

  2. Create and develop the activities of a business company or its division by analysing business opportunities, business development trends, operational efficiency and quality.

  3. Prepare a company marketing plan, organise its implementation, form the policy of integrated marketing communication by assessing the peculiarities of different markets.

  4. Apply traditional management principles of sports organization activities (sports and e-sports, games-competitions, sports events, advertising), create the image of the organization and apply it effectively to social and commercial activities.

  5. Apply innovation-based recreation and tourism business knowledge and skills in professional activities, developing and providing services.

Social skills

  1. Perform professional activity functions in the national and international environment; communicate and cooperate in the native and foreign languages, work in a team, follow the principles of professional ethics and moral norms.

Personal skills

  1. Study independently in the field of professional activity, use modern opportunities provided by information technologies, systems and databases; think critically and creatively, make managerial decisions, improve entrepreneurial skills, cherish human values ensuring the personal and corporate image.

Career opportunities

Graduates will be able to work in Lithuanian and international business companies, trade, production and service enterprises and organisations and their divisions.

After graduating from Business Management Study Programme graduates can continue studies in Lithuanian and foreign higher education institutions implementing 2nd cycle study programmes.

Degree granting requirements

Graduate’s knowledge, skills and abilities indicated in the description of the study programme are tested and assessed in public defence of a graduation thesis. A graduation thesis is an analytical project based on independent applied research. 9 ECTS are given for preparation and defence of a graduation thesis.

  • Certificate of qualifications recognition issued by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education of Lithuania (if applicable)
  • Copy of passport

Note: Legalized and notarized English translations are required for all Education documents.

 

Documents needed after acceptance

  • Bank statement about sufficient means of subsistence and the funds for return (subsistence means the amount of 0.5 minimum monthly salary for one month, the amount for return to the country of origin or a foreign country to which you have the right to travel, the amount of funds – 1 minimum monthly salary)
  • Non conviction/Police Clearance certificate from the countries of residence in the last two years
  • Health certificate – issued no longer than a month prior the date of application
