The Animation MA program focuses on the research of the moving image and offers several possible levels of research and creation :
– Theoretical. To delve deeper into the junctions of living/non-living matter, to study the phenomenon and processes of Animation that unfold there. Explore animation tools and time-based media technologies and create in a moving image format.
– Cinematic art. Exploring the culture of cinema, the changing forms of the animation film is influenced by new technologies.
– The relationship with Reality. To explore the relationship of animation to Reality, the possibilities of documentary, the appeal of memory culture in film culture.
– Contemporary art. To explore the culture of animation in contemporary art and create an animated moving image as an independent form of language in contemporary art.
