Programme overview
This History of Europe course will explore historical research methodology, and the history of European culture and political thought and ideologies. The study programme introduces the experiences of different European societies, common European values, challenges and ideas for a united Europe. Students learn critical thinking, and acquire a wide humanitarian education, which helps to more deeply understand and evaluate the modern dynamic world, and to predict possible future development directions.
The teaching of Lithuania and professional English within the course will help to integrate graduates in the Lithuanian or EU labour market. With local language skills, career opportunities might include: museums, historical and cultural management, and communication sectors.
Application fee: The Application fee for degree study programmes is for citizens of the EU member states or countries of the European Economic Area (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan), as well as those who have a permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania: €75. For other students: €180. (Application fee is non refundable).
