Sustainable Engineering

If you enjoy strategy games and care about the environment we live in today and tomorrow, Sustainable Engineering is the perfect fit for you. This program provides opportunities to acquire competencies highly sought after in the job market – the ability to implement digital engineering innovations in biological systems (nature) and efficiently employ robots – where a robot does the work and you simply monitor it.

The program combines engineering with computer science, developing skills to design production technologies using engineering tools and digital technology methods, communicate with robots and drones, utilize smart engineering systems and artificial intelligence applications to modernize production, create sustainable tools for agricultural production and organic waste management, and address resource conservation and climate change mitigation.

Career opportunities
Graduates will be able to start their own businesses or work as engineers, experts, technologists, consultants, project and production managers in international or national companies whose activities are related to the design and implementation of smart systems in the agricultural sector, food and feedstock production, collection of by-products, processing, industrial waste management, bioenergy production, technical expertise and compliance assessment, quality control, consulting. They will be able to study and specialize further in Master’s degree programs in engineering, technology or other fields of study.
