Spanish Philology

The programme offers students the solid written and spoken communication skills required for workplace success in Spanish (C1), as well as a knowledge of the fundamentals of Spanish linguistics, literature and the culture of Spanish-speaking countries. The curriculum includes a diverse range of courses that are designed to help students to develop their language skills, including the advanced writing, speaking and research skills needed to become successful. The programme is open to candidates with no Spanish proficiency.

Digital Media Design

Digital Media Design is a transdisciplinary programme (specialty) that teaches the students high-level industry production skills fundamentally based on Coding, UI/UX Design, Creative Design Content Practices, 3D Modeling, Service Design, Design Entrepreneurship and implementation of different types of technologies.

The learning goal of the programme (specialty) is to build the fundamental competences for the creation of complex in Digital Media area. Students learn to make Interactive and Virtual Reality experiences that integrate Technologies, Design and Business, Mobile Applications for the creative content, games, websites and etc.

  • Visual (Content) Communication by implementing different informatics and technology based solution;

Music Production

Bachelor degree programme Music production is unique in the region. It aims at giving all necessary creative training to contemporary music producers, including everything they need in their successful professional career. Everything you learn is designed to help starting and managing a successful music career. You will create real life projects accommodated and fitted to the on-going possibilities at the university (performing at live events, media compositions, music concerts) and built around student’s needs.

  • You will have an opportunity to work in three professional sound recording studios.
  • The only Music Production study programme fully in English in Lithuania.
  • You will meet the professionals of music industry and realize the real-life music projects during your studies.

While studying Music Production programme, you will have the opportunity to produce your music in 3 professional sound studios equipped up to the industry standard. You will receive training on Logic Studio software, and use Avid Pro Tools, Ableton and Final Cut Pro. Our lecturers have professionally worked in media industry and gained experience abroad. Most of the staff is involved in various activities of creative industries (composers, sound designers, researches, technicians, video artists, producers), so their latest practice can be quickly incorporated into the course.

Accounting and Finance / Учет и Финансы (in Russian/English)

The aim of the programme is to prepare highly qualified specialist in accounting and finance, holding knowledge in the sciences of accounting and finance, knowing the principles and methods of accounting organization and handling, financial analysis and management models, capable of independent formation and critical assessment of the financial and tax accounting policy, deal with financial management problems, plan, organize, control and assess the finances of business, public and non-profit organizations and substantiate the financial management decisions under the constantly changing conditions.

About the Programme

The study program allows to develop the general erudition and special abilities, as well as to provide the fundamental and applied knowledge which necessary for accounting, financial management and for further studies at a higher level. Small and medium business organizations dominate in majority of the countries, this require a universal specialist, who is a good judge of the principles and methods of accounting organization, management, financial analysis and management; is able independently to formulate and critically evaluate financial and tax accounting policies; to solve the problems of accounting and financial management; is able to plan, organize, control and evaluate the finances of business and public organizations and justify the financial management decisions on an ever-changing environment. Completing of this study program provided bachelor’s degree of Business Management.

Internship

Internship is a part of the programme curriculum. You will be able to do it at business companies, public sector establishments and other organizations. During the internship you will learn formation of the accounting policy and organization of the accounting and finance at the entity, enhance your theoretical knowledge in accounting and finance, and develop practical skills in accounting and financial management. You will learn with the organizational structure, its recent years’ activity, performance, and prospects, procedures at the company and accounting procedures as well as financial and tax reporting. Training Internship on accounting information technologies is focused on further development of practical skills acquired as you work with accounting information systems.

Following completion of the study programme You will be able to:

  • handle financial, tax and management accounting at organizations, form the accounting policy ensuring effectiveness of the accounting system and validity of the accounting information.
  • control the assets and equity, transactions, and performance results of the organizations.
