Studies in Lithuania – a pathway to European Commission

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is proud to have international graduates among 620 students who successfully completed their studies this season.

One of them is Juraj Kunak from Slovakia, who graduates from an unique European Union Law and Governance Master’s study programme. Together with 12 fellow students, he was studying in English this joint interdisciplinary programme, implemented by MRU’s Faculty of Law and Montesquieu University – Bordeaux IV (France). Lectures and seminars for students of this programme were held by MRU researchers as well as professors cumming to lecture from France. The admission to this special programme is opened this year again.

Juraj first arrived to MRU as an Erasmus exchange student and came back here for his Master studies. The Slovak, who speaks fluent Lithuanian by now, likes everything about this country, especially pretty girls and his studies at Mykolas Romeris University. “I didn’t see such incomparable Library as the one in MRU, neither in my home country, nor in Germany, where I was writing my Master thesis. Studies in this programme lead me to the job in European Commission in Brussels,” says Juraj overwhelmed with joy at his success.

Three more international graduates from Giorgia finished their studies at the Faculty of Politics and Management. Nino Aduashvili and Giorgi Bakhturidze received their Master of Public Administration diplomas, and Zurabi Somkhilishvili was awarded Master of Political Science diploma after successful completion of European Union Policy and Administration study programme.

On January 30th Faculty of Social Policy will also reward their graduates with diplomas. Among them – Nigerian Odigie Ulinfun, who finished Electronic Business Managment Master studies and Shabnam Gahramanova from Azerbaijan, who is graduate of Welfare Sociology Master’s Degree programme.
