Aim

Study program is aimed to educate a textile artist who has a formed artistic worldview, competences necessary for carrying out artistic activity and implementation of novelties in complicated situations, constantly changing professional and social environment, life-long learning skills, the provision of critical evaluation, social and moral responsibility for the influence of their professional activity on art phenomena and processes in an extensive social, economic and culture context

Profile of the programme

Study program is aimed to educate a textile artist having comprehensive knowledge of art and humanities, abilities of art projects organization and management, skills of communication with different social groups, artistic research, strategic thinking, interdisciplinary expression and new technology application, life-long learning skills, the provision of critical evaluation, social and moral responsibility for the influence of their professional activity on art phenomena and processes in an extensive social, economic and culture context. Study program is focused on interdisciplinary studies, it provides with the competences necessary for carrying out artistic activity and implementation of novelties in complicated situations, constantly changing professional and social environment, develops orientation in a broad context of contemporary art. The program applies interactive studying methods, educative critical thinking, communicative and representative skills and, teamwork and management skills. Students are able to undertake artistic research, contextualize and reason innovation of their creative ideas and artistic activity, experiment in the fields of textile, artistic ideas of other art branches, individually plan and form study process. Graduates can work in a chosen sphere of professional activities in a wide social context or continue their education in art or art history Doctoral studies (PhD)
