On Jan. 24th, the 4th anniversary celebration of Studying Abroad Magazine of Guangming Daily, with the theme of Tide Future Education, was held in Beijing, during which the Education Exchanges Support Foundation received the award for contribution to international education.

“We live in a global world and if we want to improve the quality of education, we have to cooperate with each other, share knowledge, experiences”, said Ms. Rasa Bubeliene, representative of the Embassy of Lithuania in China, who accepted the award on behalf of the Education Exchanges Support Foundation.

The Education Exchanges Support Foundation, which coordinates the Study in Lithuania project, is working towards the internationalization of education with aim to help internationally oriented Chinese students find best available study opportunities and help Lithuanian universities establish international networks with Chinese universities in order to improve academic quality, enhance global research and transfer of knowledge.

Guests from different countries, local and foreign educational institutions, national embassy officials, overseas students, educational specialists took part in the event and discussed the future of international education. Overseas students, teachers shared their view on the importance of internationalization of higher education.
